Ticket Sharing
Itβs here! Our latest feature, Ticket sharing.
Ticket sharing is a new feature designed and built in collaboration with Dutch National Opera & Ballet. It allows visitors to share their e-tickets via email with others.
This is a crucial step in gathering more data about your actual attendees, rather than just ticket purchasers.
The clever setup of the sharing flow creates an effortless process for the invitee. They can easily register and access the shared ticket in their existing account or create a new one on the fly.
Flexgrid and bannergrid on Home now support 4 columns
On top of the option for 1, 2 or 3 items on Desktop, the grids on Home now also support 4 items on one row. As usual, all rows in a grid can be configured freely in Routes & Parts to now show 1 to 4 items. All rows can have a different number of items, and also height is fully adjustable per row of items.
Specific locations can now be set to invisible
For the Locations you do not want to show on your events or in the filter, there is a new option within the Location Dashboard module to hide the location on your website.
External URL field for Courses
When using a courses or workshop overview using Production type βcourseβ, a new option has been added to link to an external destination for the course enrollment. This could be an external form, or a landing page from your external ticketing system. The new field will overrule any default links to internal courses enrollment forms.
A new Knowledge base
Over at community.culturesuite.co/ we just launched a new knowledge base to help you work with the Peppered platform. All Dashboard module manuals are in there, release notes, as well as announcements and upcoming events. We are also working on in-depth information about our specific partner integrations.
In the future, expect some more content around specific themes, to get you and your team quickly up to speed on the topics relevant to you.
Our new AI chatbot Pepper is available to help you out with any questions you might have, in English AND in Dutch. Please be patient with her, as she still has some learning to do (there is a lot of information in there).
Pentest results
Stadsschouwburg en de Vereeniging had a pentest performed on their Peppered Platform set-up.
A Pentest is an authorised simulated cyberattack on a computer system, performed to evaluate the security of the system. The test is performed to identify weaknesses (or vulnerabilities), including the potential for unauthorised parties to gain access to the system's features and data (Source).
We are thrilled to confirm no major issues arose from the test. We picked up on some minor recommendations though, and have added a content security header which prevents our website from being loaded in iframes.
Pen tests are not new to us. Other venues, like Chasse Theater have performed pentests in the past, and shared the results with us. The latest pen test results were also shared with other venues that required a pentest, so they didnβt need to perform one themselves. That is the power of the collective!
New Dashboard Phase 1 coming soon!
Within a couple of sprints, we will be rolling out our first phase of the new Dashboard. We are launching a first set of modules built on our complete new Dashboadd foundations. These modules will be active by default and will be able to help you the same way the old module would. They also come with some clever new features to help you manage and navigate through your content more efficiently.
We will provide a switch to the familiar module too, in case you want to switch back temporarily, or are just curious and want to compare the old and the new.
If you want to have a voice in the future developments of the Dashboard, we would like to invite you to sign up to our official test panel. This means trying out the new modules and features when they come out, and providing us with your feedback. We might organise some meetings occasionally to discuss findings and next steps. Interested?
